You send the instruction from your phone, the task runs on your computer, and its progress syncs to your phone in real time. When Kimi needs to read a folder, you can approve the request from your phone. When it is done, the result is sent back to your phone: the file is updated and the email is sent.

What is Remote Control
Remote Control is Kimi Work's remote control feature: from the Kimi App on your phone, connect to and control Kimi Work on your computer.
Tasks always run locally on your computer — files, credentials, and environment configuration all stay on that machine. Your phone is a remote window for viewing and controlling tasks.
What it can do
Start tasks on your computer, from anywhere
Your work files and project context live in Kimi Work on your computer. Even when you are away from your computer, you can send instructions directly and use those materials — your phone becomes a remote entry point to Kimi Work.
Progress in real time, approvals on the spot
The entire task syncs to your phone in real time: the current step, the tools Kimi is calling, and the intermediate results it has produced are all available at any moment. When Kimi needs confirmation—for example, to send an email or perform an operation—the approval request is sent to your computer and your phone at the same time. Approve or reject it on your phone, and the task can continue without waiting at the computer.
One phone, all your computers
Switch between connected computers whenever you like. A computer only needs to stay powered on and online, with a stable network and power supply. Wherever you are, you can send it a task.

Three steps to start
On your computer: open Kimi Work, go to "Remote control" in the left sidebar, and turn on "Allow phone control of this device";
On your phone: install the Kimi App (version 3.1.0 or later, on both Android and iOS) and sign in to the same account;
Connect the device: Kimi App → top-left corner → "Remote control" → "Add device" → "Connect", then click "Allow" on your computer.
Once connected, that computer appears in the Remote Control section on your phone: viewing projects, starting tasks, and handling approvals can all be done remotely.
Leave your computer. The work goes on.
